Front House

At times home to Ober's mother Rosa and to his close friend Frances Andrews, it was brought to the island in pieces. Ober sometimes referred to it as the Honeymoon Cabin because it was used by several honeymooners over the years. Situated on the east end of the island by “the big rock,” it has a porch kitchen, sleeping porches, and a trapdoor leading to upstairs bedrooms with a commanding view of the lake.
